Job responsibilities
-Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA)
-Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses and implement effective control measures.
-Able to handle Team and Report to EHS and Plant Head
-EHS Training and Awareness
-Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
-Manage waste disposal, air emissions, water usage, and other environmental aspects.
-Conduct regular drills and ensure readiness for fire, medical, chemical, and other emergencies.
-Track key EHS performance indicators (e.g., incident rates, audit scores).And Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
-Ensure that contractors and third-party workers comply with EHS standards, Conduct onboarding, training, and monitoring of contractors on site.
